| Out with the old in with the new... We've had quite the year here in New York. Sam made it through the year at Alstom. We had a little baby girl. Her name is Emma Sue, she was born Dec. 2, 2007, she weighed 6lb. 5 1/4oz., was 20 1/4in. long, and has fuzzy strawberry blonde hair. We look forward to the new year and some new changes. | Almost 28 weeks now. My belly is definitely showing. Sam felt the baby kick the other day, I've been feeling it for a while. lol The doctor said everything is going well, and today I have to take the "Glucose Challenge". lol I dunno if I am looking forward to that. "Here drink this gross stuff and wait an hour, then we'll take your blood." Eeeeee...Oh well, I'm sure it will go fine. Sam has started taking a Ju Jitsu class. It's a defense art, Ju Jitsu means the Gentle Way. Basically it's a bunch of throws and locks designed to make your opponent submit without too much violence. He enjoys it and it's a good work out too. He said he wants to be in shape for the baby. Awww...Well I guess that's all. Oh I can't wait to see you guys (Andria, Danielle, Elisa and children maybe). lol Hope you're all having a great week. | | |
| So basically there's not really much to update but I'm going to anyhow. lol Life is pretty good here. It's been kinda cold the past couple of days but I like it. I can't wait for fall. I love the cool weather so I can wear comfy sweatshirts, and I love the changing leaves. Oh and Apple Cider! mmmm....and punkins and carmel apples. Yaaay! Sam doesn't like the cold though. He says he doesn't like fall because it means winter is coming. But I like winter too! lol So I guess it's all good for me. Lately I have been cooped up in the house. Lookin' for things to do. I'll be more inclined to go outside when it's cooler. I can't take the heat, unless there is a body of water near by. A pool at least. lol Well I guess that's enough mindless blabbering for one day. | Well I am about a little over 5 months along now, and feeling pretty good. Sam and I decided to be surprised on the first one, so we won't know the baby's sex till it's born. That's it for baby news I guess. I am sooooo bored lately, I have no one to hang out with. I've been trying to stay busy by finding things to do. I made a quilt for the baby, and now I'm working on the one I promised Micah like 2 years ago. Other than that and cleaning house, I pretty much do nothing all day. Luckily we have the internet otherwise I think I would go crazy. Besides Sam I have no one to talk to. It'd be nice to have a girlfriend out here who I could talk to. Oh well, I just had to get that off my chest. | | |
